Electrically operated double diaphragm pump for demanding industrial environments

Tomlinson Hall has introduced the new DEPA IonTec Electrically Operated Double Diaphragm (EODD) Pump –  a next-generation solution designed to combine the reliability of traditional diaphragm pump technology with the efficiency and precision of an electric drive system.

Engineered for demanding industrial environments, the DEPA IonTec is able to deliver reduced energy consumption without compromising performance. Suitable for applications in chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and food & beverage production, the range is said to offer a cleaner, quieter, and more sustainable approach to fluid handling.

The seal-less design allows the pump to safely run dry and operate against closed valve conditions without causing damage to the pump or surrounding environment. Combined with variable speed control and gentle product handling,  it is well suited to handling abrasive, viscous, and shear-sensitive media across a wide range of applications.

Ease of maintenance has been a key focus in the development of the new range. Thanks to its modular construction and shared spare part compatibility with the established DEPA Air Operated Double Diaphragm pump range, servicing is simplified while downtime and maintenance costs are reduced.

Additional features such as soft-start capability, diaphragm leakage monitoring, compact installation dimensions, and no mechanical seals further enhance reliability and operational safety in modern industrial systems.
