Xylem opens new rental depot in Lincolnshire
Xylem UK has opened a new rental depot in Grantham, Lincolnshire, to provide pumping, treatment and disinfection solutions to water sector and industrial customers across the east of England.
The facility will primarily serve the region supplied by Anglian Water, providing access to rental equipment for a range of pumping and water treatment applications.
Customers and partners were invited to an open day in September, where Xylem showcased equipment available from the depot, including emergency and bypass pumping systems, containerised disinfection systems, dissolved air flotation (DAF) technologies and solutions for more challenging treatment applications.
Guy Fitzpatrick, Director, Water Solutions and Services at Xylem UK&I, said: “The open day showcased the rental equipment, technology and expertise available from the depot, providing quick access to pumping, treatment and disinfection solutions when they are needed most.”
The Grantham facility joins Xylem’s existing network of rental depots across the UK and Ireland, which supply the company’s Flygt electric submersible pumps, Godwin prime-assisted diesel pumps, and Wedeco and Sanitaire treatment systems.
