Six decades at the forefront of pump technology

Founded in 1966 by George Treble, his sons David and Tony Treble, and business partner Walter Lefevre, fluid motion specialist, Trebles, is celebrating 60 years in business.
Trebles began with a clear focus: providing customers with the right products, backed by genuine technical knowledge and dependable service.
That approach quickly established G M Treble, as it was known then, as a respected name within the industry, with the company becoming known for its product availability, technical expertise and ability to help customers find practical solutions.
In 1972, the business moved to its current headquarters on New Street, Wolverhampton, where it continues to operate today. Over the years, Trebles expanded its presence, including the acquisition of its Derby branch in 1996 and the opening of its Uxbridge branch in 2017, strengthening its ability to support customers nationwide.
A significant milestone came in 2009 when Stuart Herritty, Nigel Marriott and Mike Raybould completed a management buyout, enabling the original owners to retire while ensuring continuity for customers, suppliers and employees, and taking the business into its next phase of development.
Following the buyout, Trebles continued to invest in its systems, technology and infrastructure to support future growth while maintaining the technical expertise and customer-focused approach that had built its reputation.
In 2021, the company rebranded from G M Treble to Trebles, a move that was designed to reflect a modern identity that aligned with the continued growth of the business while preserving the heritage established since 1966.
Recent years have seen further changes as Trebles enters its next chapter. Mike Raybould retired in 2022, followed by Nigel Marriott in 2024. Stuart Herritty moved into the role of Chairman, with Jane Davis appointed Financial Director in 2024 and Hannah Sabel becoming Managing Director in 2025.
Today, Trebles remains one of the UK’s leading independent pump specialists, combining decades of industry knowledge with modern capabilities, technical support and extensive stock availability.
With approximately £4 million of stock held across the business, Trebles continues to provide customers with rapid access to products and solutions, helping projects move forward efficiently.
“The thing I’m most proud of is that the business has never lost sight of helping customers solve their problems,” said Stuart Herritty, Chairman of Trebles. “Whilst the industry, technology and the business itself have evolved significantly over the last 60 years, that commitment remains the same today.”
