Reliability service aims to reduce manufacturing downtime

ERIKS Industrial Services has launched a new, multi-tiered reliability service designed to help manufacturers reduce downtime, enhance asset performance, and streamline maintenance strategies.
This new offering from ERIKS provides scalable solutions, combining advanced condition monitoring, real-time data insights, and proactive maintenance support, tailored to businesses at various stages of their reliability journey.
The Standard tier is for businesses seeking a straightforward off-the-shelf solution to monitor for anomalies in critical or difficult-to-access assets. This entry-level includes self-installed sensors and app-based monitoring, delivering anomaly notifications with regular data collection. Customers purchase the sensors and receive five years of access to an online platform available through the app. Designed for companies needing basic condition monitoring, this service provides reliable insights without the need for full platform integration.
The Advanced tier builds upon the Standard service by offering more sophisticated data collection and analysis through ERIKS’ Smart Asset Management (SAM) platform. Customers can manage their own systems, using the platform to collect and analyse high frequency (e.g., flow, pressure, multi-axis vibration), with readings taken every few seconds to prevent potential equipment failures. Starting with a minimum of 20 sensors, this level includes onboarding and training to help customers fully utilise the platform’s capabilities.
For businesses where uptime is critical, the Professional tier offers the most comprehensive level of support. Fully managed by ERIKS, this service includes installation, proactive monitoring, and continuous support. The system provides real-time data collection and detailed analysis, ensuring that any potential issues are addressed swiftly. ERIKS engineers monitor status alerts, analyse data as needed, and work with the customer to develop and execute a plan of action, minimising disruption and ensuring operational efficiency.
The Advanced and Professional tiers leverage the ERIKS Smart Asset Management (SAM) platform, a cloud-based tool that combines advanced analytics with a dashboard displaying actionable insights. SAM continuously monitors equipment health, assigning colour-coded condition scores and providing timely alerts for proactive maintenance. With a centralised repository for asset data, SAM allows users to track maintenance needs in real time, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency and asset reliability.
