Quartzelec partners with Grundfos as an Approved Service Provider for industrial pumps and motors
Quartzelec has signed an agreement with Grundfos to secure its position as an Approved Service Partner for the pump manufacturer. This partnership enables Quartzelec to deliver warranty and repair contracts across the entire Grundfos industrial product range.
Grundfos products serve a wide range of sectors, including commercial buildings, industrial applications, utilities, agriculture, and domestic markets.
As a service partner in both UK and global markets, Quartzelec supports OEMs and owner/operators for new equipment as well as the maintenance, repair and service/support markets.
The contract signing took place at Grundfos’s Leighton Buzzard, UK headquarters, attended by Quartzelec Ltd representatives, including Keith Evans, Operations Director, along with senior representatives from Grundfos, which included Duncan Leathley, UK Area Sales Director, Water Utility Division and James Wright, Service Sales Development Manager.
“Our long heritage and expertise in both pumps and motors made this partnership a natural fit,” commented Keith Evans. “Being recognised at Grundfos’s highest service partner level allows us to immediately begin delivering exceptional service across the UK, supporting Grundfos’s extensive customer base.”
Speaking on behalf of Grundfos, Duncan Leathley welcomed the partnership: “Quartzelec brings a comprehensive and leading market expertise in rotating electrical equipment, including LV/HV motors, generators, pumps and other driven equipment. This is a partnership that will enhance our ability to deliver tailored, efficient and sustainable service solutions across the water industry”.
James Wright added: “Quartzelec’s UK footprint and technical expertise, combined with its commitment to environmental health and safety, make it an ideal partner.”
Keith Evans concluded: “Quartzelec has made significant investments in facilities and personnel across the UK, so being named an approved service partner is a tremendous boost for the business – particularly for our Ex Certified workshops in Aberdeen, Swansea, Grimsby, and Sheffield. This partnership strengthens our ability to provide comprehensive services across England, Scotland, and Wales, ensuring full UK coverage through our dedicated operational workshop units.”
