Calpeda launches Flow app for connected pump management

Calpeda has launched Calpeda Flow, a new mobile app designed to simplify the commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of its connected e-product pump range.

Available for Android and iOS devices, the app gives installers, maintenance technicians and end users access to key operating information directly from a smartphone. Compatible pumps can be registered through the app and connected locally via Bluetooth, while the addition of Calpeda’s Wi-Fi Box enables cloud connectivity and remote monitoring and control.

Users can view pump status and operating parameters including pressure, speed, power, current, voltage and temperature, as well as access event logs. Certain operating settings, including pump or pressure boosting unit pressure, can also be adjusted through the app.

Historical data and dynamic charts allow pump performance to be assessed over time, helping users identify changes in operating conditions, investigate potential problems and monitor energy consumption. Real-time alerts can also notify users of anomalies, potentially allowing action to be taken before a problem becomes more serious.

For maintenance and service applications, Calpeda Flow includes pump geolocation and the ability to share photographs, screenshots and other installation information with service teams.

The app has been developed for Calpeda’s e-product range of electronically controlled pumps and pressure boosting systems, including its MÈTA family of variable-speed products.
