SLD integration expands Carrier rental offering
Carrier Rental Systems has integrated SLD Pumps and Power into a single brand and operating model, bringing temperature control, dehumidification, pumps, drainage and energy solutions together within one rental business.
The expanded portfolio was recently showcased at the fourth annual George Leslie Innovation Day, marking the first public presentation of Carrier Rental Systems as a unified brand following the integration.
The integration includes a consolidated customer service centre, designed to provide a single route from initial enquiry and system specification through to delivery, on-hire support and off-hire services.
Carrier said existing customer relationships, service levels and product availability will remain unchanged, while the new structure will allow closer collaboration between its specialist teams and provide customers with access to the wider rental portfolio.
“Our customers increasingly need fast, flexible and reliable hire solutions that go beyond a single product,” said Sean Anderson, Rental Director, UK & Ireland. “This strategic integration allows us to streamline the entire customer journey, from initial enquiry through to post-hire support, while maintaining the service levels and relationships our customers value.”
The combined portfolio includes temperature-control equipment alongside pump and power products. Recent examples include six-inch electric pumps, hybrid solar generators and compact zero-carbon battery pods, as well as rental heat pumps, desiccant dehumidifiers, electric fan heaters and electric boilers.
A consolidated UK website has also been launched, providing access to technical information, product data and service support across the company’s rental activities.
Carrier Rental Systems said the unified operation will support sectors including healthcare, data centres, manufacturing, utilities and energy, with nationwide coverage.
