Put your achievementsin the spotlight

Entries for the 2027 Pump Industry Awards are being submitted at pace, but there is still time for companies, organisations and individuals across the pump sector to put themselves forward, with the deadline for submissions set for Friday 27 November 2026.

Organised by the British Pump Maufacturers Association (BPMA), the Pump Industry Awards recognise engineering excellence, innovation, business performance and the people making a significant contribution to the pump industry.

With ten award categories spanning products, projects, manufacturing, distribution, skills, sustainability and aftermarket support, the programme offers businesses and individuals from across the sector an opportunity to showcase their achievements and gain valuable industry recognition.

The 2027 categories are:

  • Product of the Year Sponsored by DFA Media
  • Project of the YearSponsored by World Pumps
  • Environmental Contribution of the YearSponsored by SPP Pumps
  • Manufacturer of the YearSponsored by WEG
  • Distributor of the YearSponsored by Caprari & Calpeda
  • Supplier of the Year Sponsored by Wilo
  • Pump Maintenance Provider of the YearSponsored by Apex Pumps
  • Contribution to Skills & Training Award Sponsored by ABB
  • Rising Star Award Sponsored by Innomotics
  • Sustainable Contribution for a Better WorldSponsored by AESSEAL

The introduction of the ‘Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year’ category for 2027 also reflects the increasingly important contribution made by specialist maintenance, repair and aftermarket organisations in maximising equipment reliability, efficiency and whole-life performance.

With the closing date now approaching, potential entrants are being encouraged not to leave their submissions until the last minute. The online entry system is designed to make the process as straightforward and flexible as possible, allowing entrants to start an application, save their progress, and return to it multiple times before submitting their completed entry if required.

Starting the process early allows applicants to consider the category criteria, gather supporting information and develop their submission over time, helping to ensure that the achievements being put forward are presented as effectively as possible.

Being selected as a Finalist can itself deliver significant PR and marketing benefits, providing valuable third-party recognition that can be shared with customers, prospects, employees and the wider industry. For those who go on to win, the accolade provides an even greater endorsement of their achievement and an opportunity to celebrate that success in front of senior personnel from across the pump sector.

An evening of celebration

The culmination of the 2027 programme will be the Pump Industry Awards Gala Dinner, taking place on Thursday 11 March 2027 at The Hilton at St George’s Park, Burton upon Trent.

This event has become an important social occasion for the pump industry, bringing together senior executives and representatives from manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, contractors, end-users and other organisations from across the sector.

It provides an opportunity to put business aside for an evening, network with industry colleagues and celebrate the achievements of those who collectively contribute to the continuing development and success of the pump sector. Against this backdrop, the announcement of the 2027 winners will provide a fitting finale to an evening dedicated to recognising pump engineering excellence.

The BPMA would like to acknowledge and thank all of the 2027 Pump Industry Awards sponsors for their continued support in helping to make the programme possible.

With the Friday 27 November 2026 entry deadline approaching, prospective entrants are encouraged to visit the Awards’ website, review the category criteria and start their online submission without delay.
