Armstrong Fluid Technology continues UK expansion

Armstrong Fluid Technology is continuing to expand its UK operations with the addition of a brand new plant to run in partnership with its existing Droitwich site.
The company’s expansion in Droitwich will give it more dedicated factory and office space to handle a steady increase in demand for its products, and will open up new job opportunities.
Since 2004 the company has been manufacturing packaged plantrooms and integrated offsite solutions in the Midlands that provide heating and cooling for facilities such as hospitals, apartment blocks, universities and offices across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
In 2021, Armstrong Fluid Technology relocated manufacturing operations, warehouse, and office staff to Pointon Way, Droitwich, from its previous site in Halesowen, to enable the company to expand. Since moving to the Droitwich site, the company has continued to grow exponentially, and the additional unit at the Potter Space industrial estate will enable the company to continue its expansion.
Unit 103 Potter Space will provide Armstrong Fluid Technology with an additional 24,400 sq ft of warehousing and office space.
The company plans to relocate its stores function to the new unit, along with some sub-assembly, product testing and administrative functions. This will free up more assembly/manufacturing capacity at its existing factory.
The brand-new unit has been designed and built with numerous sustainability features, including solar panels, highly-effective insulation, efficient water and drainage systems, LED lighting, and air permeability, which prevents heat loss in cold weather.
Joseph Keenan, Managing Director for Armstrong Fluid Technology in the UK, commented: “This is an exciting time for us, as we embark on plans for further expansion. Our Droitwich factory is a centre of excellence for the production of packaged plantrooms and integrated offsite solutions, recognised across the world. The additional factory space will enable us to step up our production capabilities in line with growing demand from customers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.”
